Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her perform in play rehearsals. Her appearances in commercials were numerous when she was a child. Then, in November 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She eventually moving in Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They became engaged in 2009, after they got married. Anna, who had converted to Judaism in the year before Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows with the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's same sex relationship, together with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo), was listed in CNN as one of the all-time favorites TV Couples. E! named the couple "the best TV Couple" of 2013.
